We represent a vibrant alliance of 32 neighborhoods in the heart of Portland, diligently striving together for a future that is not only comfortably livable, but also steadfastly sustainable, reflecting our shared commitment to environmental responsibility and community well-being.
Neighborhoods
Portland’s 4th District covers the entire west side of the city, extending from Linnton and Forest Park, through the Northwest District and the west hills, into downtown, and reaching the southern boundaries of the city. On the east side of the Willamette River, the 4th District also encompasses the picturesque neighborhoods of Reed, Eastmoreland, Ardenwald, and Sellwood.
Neighborhood association members
The District Four Coalition, comprising 32 active neighborhood associations, is dedicated to enhancing livability across our communities. Together, we represent a quarter of Portland’s population, with over 14,000 engaged members.
Annual Volunteer Hours
Our dedicated volunteers collectively contribute over 10,000 hours annually to clean-ups, crime prevention, civic engagement, and a variety of other community-enhancing activities.
